Today more than a quarter of all marriages in England take place before God in the traditional setting of a Church of England church. If you live in Lawley, Dawley, Horsehay, Malinslee, Stirchley, Brookside, Ketley or the Rock then you can be married in any of the churches in the parish of Central Telford.
We recommend that you make contact with the local minister to begin with to discuss your plans. If you live in Lawley or Lightmoor this will be Revd. Steve Kelly. (See contact page)
They will then give you details of the wedding Desk where you go to book your wedding. The desk is open between 6pm and 7pm, every Wednesday evening, at Meeting Point House, on the first floor. Meeting Point House is in the town centre, just beyond the Post Office in town as you leave the centre heading towards the town park.
For more information about getting married in the church of England, please visit the main wedding page on the church of England website.
